Myths and Legends The Creation of Earth In the beginnging there was a lupine god by the name of Potence, he was a large, dark colored wolf, the god of Earth. For many years he lived in solitude and darkness. He felt it was unecessary to decorate the planet with light and life. Until Mora. She was the daughter of Basileus, god of the Universe. it was Basileus who appointed Potence to Earth, just like his eight brothers who like him had all been appointed to the many spheres of the universe. It is said that Mora arrived on Earth seeking refuge from her father, and it was during her hiding that Potence found himself attracted to this beautiful goddess. However when Mora was first born her father created a law that 'no god nor commonor could ever set eyes upon his daughter.' Potence knew the law but he wanted to show his feelings towards her. So Potence created stars, so that Mora could gaze at dazzling lights above her as she fell asleep. Then Potence created light, so that as Mora when she woke she was greeted by light gleeming down on her. Then Potence created water, so that as Mora woke on the second day she was greeted by the cool, refreshing liquid. Then Potence created plants, so that Mora could smell the lushious fresh aroma of blooming flora. Then Potence created mortal wolves, so that Mora could have company. Then Potence created prey and predator so the wolves could flourish and yet not over populated. He made it all for her, and as he stood proudly before this masterpiece he had created, she still was the most beautiful thing of all. So with love riding his every move, Potence said hello to Mora. It was all that was needed for her to fall in love with him and as time went by their love grew. And it was then that Potence welcomed his first child; Prinum. The two were overjoyed by the arrival of their son, who later became known as the God of Weather. With time Potence and Mora welcome two more children; Caritis and Bellum. Caritis later became known as the goddess of love, while Bellum became the god of hunts. Then there was Harmonia, goddess of the wolves and Monage, goddess of skill and wisdom. As time continued The family grew and they welcomed many new members and each one of them played their vital roles in the Earth.
The Creation of the Storm-Bringers As Earth continued to grow, duties began to be passed among Potence and Mora's offspring. It was their first-born, Prinum whom was bestoyed with the duty of weather. He took the position with the upmost importance. Most days were filled with sunshine and only storms approached when prayed for by wolves. WIthout him, natural disasters would ingulf the world his father had worked so hard on. It was centuries after the birth of Prinum, when Basileus found out. Not only had one of his followers (Potence) betrayed the law of which no lupine shant ever set eyes upon his daughter, but he had also gone a step further; Potence and Mora were mates. Outraged Basileus seeked revenge so he saught out to slaughter their first-born. The sentence was not a private matter and Prinum's fate was forged. So in an attempt to save Earth, Prinum chose a follower. By the name of Miles. Prinum passed on his powers that were given to him to the young wolf. However young and inexperienced Prinum was, certain glitches went along with his power. Such as the lack of control any one wolf could have over the weather, or the link between emotions and weather that was now carved into Miles. The next day, Prinum was assassinated. HIs plan to pass on his abilities was never passed by his family and so they watched eagerly as one young wolf shaped their planet. With each outburst of anger, the ground shock and split the ground, islands formed, canyons forms. Each tear and he filled the world with floods. Every spurt of surprise Miles experienced in life eroded the earth. Over milenniums, Miles passed down his power and it set upon the world like wild fire. 1 in 3 wolves were storm-bringers, and today they worship Prinum and Miles the two that started it all for them. And with time they taught themselves not to show any emotion for the sake of the Earth and their order.
The Creation of the Phallics and Equites As the Storm-Bringers began to overpopulate the world of wolves, and humans began to tame them. Potence saw that they had to maintain them before the hairless apes discovered that a bunch of wolves were controlling the weather that constantly destroyed their homes. So Potence assigned his three daughters; Caritis, Monage ad Harmonia to create their own power wolf, much like Prinum had. They discussed and settled with the decesion of a species in which was connected with nature, so they could keep order over the Storm-Bringers, and have someone to constantly clean-up after their tantrums. And so the Phallics were created by the hand of Harmonia. The power was dubbed upon three wolves, two females and a male. Hoping that it would help the spcies grow faster and so it did. A silent harmony was brought over the wolves. but hatred was still felt among them. The Storm-Bringers and the Phallics became an ancient enemy, the Storm-Bringers being happy to start a fight, the Phallics had a slightly more peaceful demanour.
As the first domesticated dogs began to appear on the scene, Potence felt that they were hidden once more. But it was Bellum, who went against all orders and created his own species of followers. They were small and faulty at first meerly capable of healing the injuried and weak. But within time, one "experiment" by the name of Balatro, master the power to control the mind. He could plant ideas and images into any one wolf's head. he could bring illness and injury but also heal it, a powerful weapon. A powerfuly hunting tool whetehr for pray or enemies, Bellum had succedded. So he attempted to forge those powers into other wolves. But all ended in death and failure. He soon discovered that Balatro had been blessed with the power from birth, and as he had grown he had mastered it, manipulated it. Such a powerful tool that could only be useful to the wolves in which carried intelligence and smarts. He abandoned all experiments, disturged by it all. Once his father unearthed his plan, he sentence Bellum to the cage, in which he has stayed for many milenums. All the while his species grew and only 1 in 10 would master it, but those who did, shaped the earth and caused an uproar among the storm-bringers and the Phallics. The Storm-Bringers slaughted the Equites with joy, with a hope to erase them completely. And when they thought they did, they found around 10% surived. Today Equites are extremely rare, but are not extinct.
